“Parent” is used to define a currency in reference to another. In the set of pre-loaded currencies, “Penny” is one example defined as 1/100 of the British Pound. In this case, parent is GBP and the divider is 100.

Symbol can appear before or after the number, depending on the currency.

The code of the currency must be the internationally recognized three letters code defined in the
ISO 4217 norm.
